the beginning and the beginning of the end
3 large fine line drawings on wallpaper done in 2008.
The beginning started semi "automatically" where I sat in front of a massive blank piece of paper with a pen and started making lines (curvy lines!!) and allowing myself to draw without thinking much about what I was doing. This was the start of how I tend to create work now.
The beginning of the end (two drawings - intended to be a diptych) came after its completion - taking what was created on the paper further - to further develop that organic, birth/beginning - death/end theme.
